As part of the Ready, Set, Go! initiative, Orleans Public Education Network is leading the charge to bring awareness to the importance of school readiness for young children — and your voice is a vital part of the conversation. This effort will need Champions from the whole village: parents, child care providers, educators, public officials and community partners, as well as members of the business community.
The city-wide “Champions for the Young Child” campaign was created to bring awareness to the role that we, the village, play in making our young children ready for school. Our first step is to enlist you to sign on as a Champion. What that means is that you will agree to support this effort by including this unique identifier on your website and/or communications throughout 2014.
Please fill out this form, save, and email to us indicating that you agree to include the Champion logo on your website and/or email signature.
Our overall goal is community transformation of outcomes for the children of New Orleans. By supporting this case, you are publicly standing up and lending your voice to the chorus demanding better options for our most precious resource: our children.
Thank you for your strength, your spirit, and your dedication to the youngest and most vulnerable citizens of New Orleans. Thank you for being a Champion for the Young Child.
