The Civic Design team serves as a steering committee and advisory board for FLTI NOLA.
CDT members are expected to:
• Be the community voice of the program by modeling the tone, spirit and energy of FLTI
• Assist in recruiting and interviewing process for new FLTI participants
• Assist in recruitment of new Civic Design Team Members
• Support the selection of coordinator and host organization
• Support the coordination of internal and external class components
• Play active roles (including leadership) in sub-committees
• Build on private and public partnerships for the program
Participation Requirements: As a member of the design team you are asked to attend meetings once a month, and serve actively on one committee. Currently, the average monthly commitment to the program is approximately 3 – 4 hours.
