Extreme Measures: When and How School Closures and Charter Takeovers Benefit Students

On October 17, the Education Research Alliance for New Orleans will publicly release a report on how school closures and charter takeovers impact student outcomes. Authors Whitney Bross, Douglas N. Harris, and Lihan Liu will present their findings at the Tulane City Center from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. that evening.
The presentation, which will be livestreamed from ERA's web site, will be followed by a panel discussion with local and national education leaders about the role of closure and takeover in school improvement. Panelists include:
